Every Sunday at 10 a.m., we gather together for worship in the sanctuary. The family-friendly service features a blend of traditional and contemporary music and is casual – dress comfortably! Come as you are with an open heart and an open mind. There is a Children’s Play Area in the sanctuary with pews so families can worship together; it is stocked with coloring books, crayons, stories, and toys for the young and young at heart. Every noise is welcome during the service!
Our building is handicap accessible with an accessible entrance clearly marked on Sunday mornings and an all gender restroom is located on the first floor. Assistive listening devices are available and ASL interpretation is offered on the first Sunday of every month and on other special Sundays throughout the year as advertised.
The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. As United Methodists, we believe that God’s table is open to every person who desires to receive abundant grace and grow in love. You do not need to be baptized or a member of any church in order to receive Holy Communion at Good Shepherd UMC. We have gluten-free bread and grape juice in individually sealed containers for your health and safety. And if you do not wish to receive the sacrament, you may ask for a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest.
